Whilst walking around i have been collecting miscellaneous objects and adding them to my collection of things which belonged to the person who i am 'stalking' . However, i feel that i am subconsciously cleaning up the streets by collecting these random rubbish items. So far i have been collecting just random items. I want to start looking into collecting things which have MORE meaning, like bank statements and things like that. Nevertheless, it has been brought to my attention that somethings like this, if i was to adapt them, might be counted as fraud. Nonetheless, i need to continue finding things which have more personal connections. Tissues, a strand of hair, an item of clothing...things which have more traces on them of the person.
The items which i have been collecting i have then gone on to scan in police bags that i have acquired. Once they have been scanned i write on them details of the objects found. I then sign and date them and make them as realistic as i can. I am not sure if i have put the correct division force details on but what i could find through research i believe it is. I chose Thames Valley police division as it covers an area of forrest which is beginning to interest me. Finally, i re scan the documents to make it seem as though the writing has always sat on the piece of paper, and these are my final remains of what i have at the moment. I have placed these 'files' in a wallet to keep safe, ready for me to decide at a later date what to do with them. This whole process is VERY lengthy but i believe that it is a necessary step within my work.
