Bog bodies is a great continuation on the thought of last meals.
Bodies which have been found in peat bogs are often still very intact even after they have been in there for a long time. The conditions in the bog are perfect for preserving a body as it mummifies the body naturally. This is due to: strong acidic water, low temperatures, and hardly any oxygen. All of this makes the bodies have a strange colour. They go extremely brown. The photographs of them make them seem as though they have been made of bronze and these are actually just sculptures.
These bog bodies still have their skin intact and their organs. This is the particular thing which i am interested in. It has shown that some of the bodies still hold their last meal and you are able to tell what they had to eat. Also, on some of the bodies, they still have personal possessions on them. Their last thing.
