| So these are both very similar, the only difference being the one is accompanied with 'elevator' music and the other isn't. So a remark on that would be that i like the inclusivity of the elevator music, it adds a sort of mockery to the piece, a level of irony. It really does make it seems as though we are in a 'real housewives' setting, maybe even a commercial - yes i'm going all american here. I don't know if my audience is getting the american vibe, but i certainly am, or i'm too consumed by the idea! ..Any way, the sound its self - tab speaking, i WAY TOO LAYERED. enough said? I do like the overlapping, making it like a continual noise, but you cant understand it or hear what is actually being said. I will change the volumes levels on it, so just certain parts are loud and the other bits fall into the background. |
| Linking the sound to the film: For this i decided where the nasty bits of the speech were said "remove all the scum" to link up with a weird part of the film. We could be watching a part of film which seems nice, ordinary, the sun streaming through the wooden fence panels, and then when something nasty is said, the camera is down on the floor going into the soil and darkness. As much as i like a good old montage, i'm not sure if this film connects up and this message is conveyed?! However, it was a good start with the sound and working into it! |
