It has now reached that suitable amount of time for me to be able to sit back and think about what i truly feel about the sound. Yes, the bells work perfectly. They are a mix between joyful times, and the memory of time passing. They sit very well in this piece. However, these are really just constant. I want the bells moving in and out of being able to hear them. Another thing is that with the piece below, the other sounds/ background noises are way too loud. They create this film of white noise almost and it's too distracting! This volume level needs to be reduced.
So here in this post is my newly improved one. Again, I am unsure what i make of this one at the minute. However, what i do like are the moments when the sound completely goes. When the bells cut out into nothing. And then all of a sudden they are loud and prominent again, forcing you to accept them. I also quite like the tolling bell. When i return home at easter i want to record the bells again and some of the background noises.
3:30 would probably be my favourite moment. When you can only just hear the bells and there is a mixture between the chorus peel and the bells tolling. I like them being a constant, but i want them extremely quiet.
Also, yes to the crop! This cropped view is so much better and interesting. I like how she is off centre.
